<p>Rebecca R. Collins, MS, ACSM-EPC<br />Principal Lecturer of Exercise Science, Georgia Southern University<br />Rebecca R. Collins, MS, ACSM-EPC, is a certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of<br />Sports Medicine and a Principal Lecturer in the Waters College of Health Professions at Georgia<br />Southern University. She has been teaching at Georgia Southern for nearly 19 years.<br />Rebecca is the creator and director of the Statesboro YMCA Phase Three Cardiac<br />Rehabilitation Program and has worked with perinatal clients for over a decade.<br />Recently, she helped launch the Motherhood in Motion program at the YMCA,<br />dedicated to supporting and empowering perinatal women through exercise.<br />With over 20 years of experience as a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer, Rebecca<br />has licenses and certifications in cycling, barre, and Zumba. She currently teaches step aerobics, Zumba,<br />high-intensity interval training, cycling, and barre classes at the YMCA and Forest Heights Country Club.<br />Rebecca is married to Carter Collins, the Head Men&#39;s Golf Coach at Georgia Southern University. They<br />have three children: Sydney, 12, Jase, 10, and Cooper, 7.</p>
