Dr. Chopak-Foss is a Professor in the Department of Health Policy & Community Health in the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health at Georgia Southern University. Her research interests have focused on the spectrum of Maternal and Child Health Issues, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, maternal characteristics of low-risk Cesarean delivery, and the impact of ACES on a variety of health outcomes in parents and children for K-12. In 2019, she established the Maternal and Child Health Interest group in the college for students and faculty to collaborate on translational research and education on maternal and child health issues.
