Amber is a consultant with Morehouse School of Medicine’s Center for Maternal Health Equity working on projects related to breastfeeding, multi-state program evaluation, social determinants of health, and provider training. Prior to this role she managed research projects and lobbied on behalf of Georgia's moms and babies with Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia. She has conducted research in a number of areas including program evaluation, refugee studies, cancer prevention, and reproductive/sexual health.
