Respectful Maternity Care (RMC) is a rights-based approach that describes care upholding dignity, confidentiality, and freedom from harm. How a person experiences care influences their adherence to recommendations, their stress levels, and their sense of safety. The goal of this course is to improve the patient experience and safety during perinatal care by equipping healthcare teams with the skills to consistently practice Respectful Maternity Care (RMC).
