John Isac

I received my medical training in Eastern Europe, where I completed medical school with formal training in pediatrics. My academic focus emphasized neurodevelopment and clinical genetics, with particular attention to microdeletional disorders and their clinical implications across childhood development.
After completing my medical boards, I elected not to repeat residency and fellowship training in the United States. I pursued a career in clinical research in clinical genetics, which later expanded into oncology. I served at Cancer Treatment Centers of America and participated in structured externships in hematology, oncology, family medicine, and pediatrics. This work strengthened my expertise at the intersection of genetics, oncology, and patient centered care.
Medical education remains central to my professional identity. I bring extensive experience teaching across the educational continuum. I have instructed undergraduates in anatomy and physiology, postgraduates in medical statistics and informatics, and medical students in biochemistry, genetics, hematology and oncology, and general pediatrics. I have also provided long standing mentorship to medical students and residents, with sustained involvement in academic advising, clinical skill development, and professional advancement.
