Amy Rodriguez, PhD
Dr. Amy Rodriguez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology, Emory School of Medicine and a Research Health Scientist with the Center for Visual and Neurocognitive Rehabilitation, Atlanta VA Medical Center. Dr. Rodriguez earned her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Florida in 2010 and went on to complete postdoctoral fellowships in the Department of Neurology at the University of Florida (2010-2011) and the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia (2011-2015). As a speech-language pathologist and rehabilitation scientist, Dr. Rodriguez’s research focuses on the development and evaluation of interventions for individuals and families facing language and cognitive impairment due to neurologic disease. She serves as Director of the Charlie and Harriet Shaffer Cognitive Empowerment Program and Lead of the Lifestyle and Empowerment Core of the Goizueta Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.
