Emma Matovu, MPH, CHES
Emma Matovu is Associate Director for the Primary Care Provider Core at Georgia Memory Net. Her expertise in the field includes health education, strategy development, program development, implementation and evaluation, program management, training, and community outreach. She has extensive experience collaborating with physicians, leading region-wide initiative, and forging partnerships at the local, regional, and national levels.
Ms. Matovu is passionate about public health. She has worked with diverse audiences on a number of focus areas including heart health, tobacco cessation, alcohol screening, reproductive health, and behavioral health. For 10+ years, she served as Adjunct Faculty for the departments of public health and health science at two California State University campuses.
Ms. Matovu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz and a Master of Public Health from California State University, Los Angeles. She is also a Certified Health Education Specialist.
