Lasha Clarke, PhD, MPH
Dr. Lasha Clarke is an Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Assistant Director of Research and Translation at the Center for Maternal Health Equity at Morehouse School of Medicine. As an epidemiologist, Dr. Clarke leads mixed-methods research and programmatic initiatives to advance community-driven strategies for reproductive health equity. She is Principal Investigator of the Fertility Equity Study, which explores Black families’ experiences navigating infertility, and Co-Director of the NIH-funded Center for Reproductive Justice and Behavioral Health. Dr. Clarke earned her PhD in Epidemiology and MPH in Global Epidemiology from Emory University and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Princeton. She has worked with the CDC, state health departments, health plans, and industry and community organizations on public health initiatives.
