Kesley Holmes, DHA, MS, CCRP

Kesley D. Holmes, DHA, MS, CCRP, is a clinical research executive with over 15 years of experience in research operations, workforce development, and strategic leadership. As Director of the Clinical Trials Office & Research Operations at Morehouse School of Medicine, she has led initiatives to enhance cost recovery, optimize resource allocation, and expand research capacity. Her efforts have helped strengthen institutional research infrastructure, increased the number of industry-sponsored trials, and improved financial sustainability.
A recognized leader in education and workforce development, Dr. Holmes designed and launched the Clinical Research Coordinator Certificate program, a workforce pipeline that has trained and mentored underrepresented professionals in clinical research coordination. She also serves on Georgia State University’s Health Sciences advisory board and contributes to national organizations, including the National Council of University Research Administrators, the Health Information and Management Systems Society, and the Society of Clinical Research Associates.
With a Doctorate in Health Administration, a Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs for Drugs, Biologics, and Medical Devices, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a focus on Health Services Administration, Dr. Holmes combines academic expertise with operational excellence, advancing clinical research through innovation and dedication.
