Kathi Earles, MD., MPH., DABOM

Biography-Kathi A. Earles, MD, MPH, DABOM, is a Howard University trained microbiologist and physician whose career reflects a commitment to health equity and community-centered healing. She earned both her undergraduate degree and medical degree at Howard University before completing her pediatric residency at Univerisity of Southern California and her Masters in Public Health at the University of California in Los Angeles, California.
She later served as Associate Director of the Pediatrics Residnecy Program at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she is credited with developing the curriculum from its inception. For 18 years, she worked as an Executive Obesity Medical Liaison at Novo Nordisk, Inc., becoming a nationally recognized expert in obesity care and authoring numerous publications, including the first cllnical textbook committred to obesity in the Black community, "Obesity in the Black Community: Weighing the Complexity Above Statistics".
An Atlanta Dream diehard fan, exercise enthusiast, artist, and determined yet challenged gardener, Dr. Earles is also a wife, mother of three adult children, and rescue-dog mom. She is guided by an unwavering belief that healing individuals and healing communities are inseparable and that true health grows strongest where people and communities heal together.
