Dr. Mayers-Mendoza earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Cornell University before completing medical school at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She is currently a third-year pediatric resident at Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Mayers-Mendoza has a strong academic interest in pediatric gastroenterology and has attended numerous conferences and presented multiple posters related to pediatric GI. She will continue her training as a Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellow at Children's Hospital Los Angeles in partnership with the University of Southern California. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and their 18-month-old daughter, with whom she loves to spend all of her free time.
