Sharon Rachel is a public health generalist with over two decades of experience in advancing health equity, specializing in curriculum development, health education, research, and training. She has designed, implemented, and evaluated training curricula in primary care training enhancement for physician assistant students and preceptors, integrating behavioral health into primary care practices, and building culturally relevant goal-directed resilience strategies. Her research interests include climate change, health disparities, intersectionality, and inequality. She holds graduate degrees in women’s studies, public health, and history and sociology of technology and science.
