Dr. Ryan Hill is the Chief Resident in General Surgery at Morehouse. Originally from Chicago Illinois , Dr.  Hill earned her medical degree from Philadelphia college of Osteopathic Medicine.. During residency, Dr. Hill has developed a strong clinical and academic interest in metabolic and bariatric surgery, as well as interests: minimally invasive surgery, foregut surgery.  She   was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in recognition of outstanding academic achievement, leadership, professionalism, and service.  She has been actively involved in research, resident education, mentorship, presentations, and publications, and has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in patient care and surgical leadership. Following completion of residency, Dr. Hill plans to go to fellowship in MIS  and Foregut with a focus on advancing patient-centered care and improving outcomes in metabolic disease.
