Kim Reese, M.Ed
Ms. Kim Reese is our new Senior Program Coordinator for the Primary Care Physician core group, working closely with Associate Program Director, Emma Matovu. Kim graduated from Shorter University with a B.S. in Business Management and a M.Ed. in Education from Brenau University. Before working at Emory University, she worked in the public school system where she was passionate about students gaining a quality education that would make a long-term impact on their academic careers. She has been with Emory University for 5 years and is coming from the School of Medicine: Pediatric Critical Care Medicine fellowship program. Kim is a life-long learner and enjoys challenging herself to learn new things.
In her spare time, Kim enjoys volunteering with different organizations, such as Partnership Against Domestic Violence and Junior Achievement. Her desire to help others shows in both her personal life as well as her professional life. With this desire, she is excited to build relationships in Emory University’s Neurology department and within Georgia Memory Net.
A fun fact about Kim is she doesn’t know how to swim, but isn’t afraid to do water activities. She’s been white water rafting, snorkeling, etc. and thoroughly enjoys it.
