Zubair Malik, MD, is the section chief of GI for Virtua South campus and the director of the GI Motility & GERD program at Virtua Health system. Dr. Malik completed his medical degree, internal medicine residency, and gastroenterology and motility fellowships at Temple University.  After serving on faculty for 8 years at Temple, he moved to Virtua Health system to start a new motility and foregut program. Alongside his clinical practice at Virtua, Dr. Malik contributes actively to research, with a focus on motility and esophageal disorders, including participation in the Gastroparesis Research Consortium.
