Mind Matters: Dementia Care for Primary Care Providers (August 2026)
This course is designed for primary care providers (PCPs) in general practice. It would likely be of interest to practitioners (such as physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners) who regularly deal with patients who have dementia. The program describes screening, assessment, diagnosis, and management of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD). Georgia Memory Net has statewide consultative resources for consultative services for early and accurate dementia so this offering will be of interest to those who are referring patients to GMN or are considering doing so. Materials will be useful for learners from resident to experienced provider interested in learning about ADRD and/or GMN.
