Alfreda Holloway, PhD, MS, Executive MBA (c), is Director of Epidemiology at the Cook County Department of Public Health and a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago. With more than 15 years of experience in epidemiology, public health surveillance, health equity, and data analytics, Dr. Holloway leads initiatives that transform data into actionable strategies to improve population health. Her work focuses on strengthening epidemiologic surveillance, advancing health equity, building data literacy, and fostering partnerships across public health, healthcare, academic, and community organizations. She is also pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, integrating business strategy and innovation into her approach to public health leadership. Through education, collaboration, and data informed decision making, Dr. Holloway works to strengthen systems and partnerships that support healthier schools, families, and communities.
