Omotara Tiamiyu is a senior at Johns Hopkins University majoring in Public Health on the pre-medical track. Her research interests center on maternal and reproductive health equity, with a particular focus on improving health outcomes for Black women and other underserved populations. Her research experience includes examining partnerships between community-based doulas and healthcare systems, maternal health policy, and reproductive health disparities in both domestic and global contexts. She currently conducts research at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and has completed public health research experiences spanning health policy, maternal health, and global women’s health
