Dr. Michelande Ridoré is an improvement scientist, published poet, maternal health advocate, and healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience advancing quality, learning, and population health. She serves as Senior Director and High Reliability Organization (HRO) Architect for Jackson Health System in Miami, Florida.

Her maternal health work spans hospital, community, and population-health settings, including helping expand maternal health initiatives across five regions in South Florida and leading Jackson Health System’s Doula-Friendly work to strengthen the integration of doulas within hospital care. For more than a decade, she has championed maternal and pediatric outcomes through partnerships grounded in health literacy, advocacy, dignity, and community voice.

Dr. Ridoré has a Masters in Healthcare Administration from University of Maryland Global Campus, a Doctorate of Education from the University of Miami and is also pursuing an Executive Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Miami Business School, exploring the intersection of leadership, emotional intelligence, systems thinking, and population health—and how leaders create the conditions for people, organizations, and communities to thrive.
