Brittany Wright is International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and serves as the Lactation Program Coordinator for the Perinatal Health Equity Initiative.  She has worked in the Maternal Child Health field for over a decade and uses a public health lens to inform her work.  She has led equitable access to lactation support initiatives and grants, developed community milk sharing programming, and provided clinical lactation support to the residents of East Orange, NJ.  Her public health work includes coordinating two projects for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Bureau of Maternal Infant Reproductive Health, the NYC Breastfeeding Hospital Collaborative and the Maternity Hospital Quality Improvement Network.  Brittany is a board member for the NY State Breastfeeding Coalition.  She is an adjunct professor at New York University and a Doctoral Candidate at Teacher's College at Columbia University, she holds a bachelors in Health Behavior Management from the University of Delaware, and a Masters in Public Health from Thomas Jefferson University.  She is a mother of two boys, ages 14 and 9.
