Zainab Jah (she/her), MPH is Co-Executive Director of Community Strategy & Accountability and Co-Founder of Woven, a community-rooted research and strategy intermediary working at the intersection of reproductive justice, maternal health, and systems change. She earned her Master of Public Health in Behavioral Science and Health Education from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and brings deep experience in community-based and mixed-methods research, partnership design, and cross-sector collaboration. Her work centers reproductive justice and birth equity for Black and Brown birthing people transnationally. Woven currently serves as Community Principal Investigator on an NIH-funded maternal health research initiative in partnership with Tulane University and Ochsner Health System, where Zainab serves as Co-Investigator. She also leads community-driven work at the intersection of climate change and maternal health across the Gulf South, Puerto Rico, and Sierra Leone.
