Lucia Palmarini is the Director of Strategy and Innovation at Cradle Cincinnati, where she leads equity-driven initiatives to improve maternal and infant health. With over two decades at the intersection of creativity, social justice, and community-led change, she blends data, storytelling, and deep relationship-building to design strategies that center Black women's voices and drive lasting impact. She is the co-creator of Mama Certified, a hospital certification model that holds birthing facilities accountable to standards of respectful, equitable maternity care, and has led its growth from concept into a cross-sector strategy for systems-level change.
