Miranda R. Weaver, DrPH, MPH is a public health professional, researcher, and educator whose work focuses on maternal health equity, social determinants of health, and the structural factors that shape healthcare access and outcomes. She earned her Doctor of Public Health from Walden University, where her doctoral research examined housing instability and maternal health outcomes among non-Hispanic Black women in Georgia using data from the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS). Her research explores how housing instability and geographic context intersect with maternal mental health, prenatal care utilization, and pregnancy-related outcomes. Dr. Weaver also serves as an adjunct professor of public health, supporting the development of future public health professionals through applied, evidence-based education. Her broader interests include translating population health data into practical strategies that address structural barriers, improve access to care, and advance maternal health equity.
