Máire Stocking is a registered nurse and board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with over 14 years of experience in public health. For the past five years, she has served as a Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) nurse at the Marion County Public Health Department in Indianapolis, Indiana. In her role, Máire leads one of three FIMR case review teams and facilitates two active work groups—one focused on parental mental health, and another addressing the unique challenges faced by the Haitian immigrant population in Marion County. Her work centers on using FIMR data to identify and address social determinants of health that impact maternal and infant outcomes in underserved communities. Máire is passionate about advancing equity in maternal and child health and is committed to translating data into meaningful, community-informed action.
