Sabia Wade (she/they) is a Black, queer, multi-disciplinary reproductive justice advocate, entrepreneur, and thought leader whose work centers liberation, care, and community. As the creator and CEO of Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings,  Sabia has cultivated an inclusive and accessible platform for community care workers across the world. They are also the founder of For the Village, Inc., a San Diego-based nonprofit offering doula training and care for underserved communities.

Rooted in years of experience across curriculum development, business strategy, full-spectrum doula care, and organizational leadership, Sabia supports individuals and teams through workshops, program consulting, and executive coaching throughout the Birth and Reproductive Health sectors.

Sabia’s journey into reproductive justice began as a volunteer doula with the Prison Birth Project and has since evolved into a dynamic, far-reaching career. As the author of Birthing Liberation: How Reproductive Justice Can Set Us Free, Sabia explores bias, nuance, and the pathways toward collective freedom. Whether in the role of mentor, educator, advisor, or investor, Sabia’s work is grounded in the belief that reproductive justice is central to the liberation of all people.

In addition to their advocacy and educational work, Sabia offers healing services through Tend & Mend Healing Studio, in Wilmington, North Carolina. A true multi-hyphenate, Sabia weaves together herbalism, spiritual care, mediumship, Reiki, death doula work, and human design, all in service of embodied healing, self-trust, and community care.
