Whitney is a native of Prince George’s County, MD with a deep affinity for good crab cakes and go-go music. She has worked in private practice in Prince George’s County; and is currently a public health lactation consultant and health educator for the Babies Born Healthy Program, part of Montgomery County (MD) Department of Health and Human Services. Her interests include advocacy, exploring systems change, and program planning. She is also currently pursuing her master’s in public health at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, with a focus on maternal child health policy. When not working or in school, she can be found serving her community with her various organizations, traveling with her family, or planning her next DIY adventure.
