Dr. Tarun Aurora is an adult and pediatric hematologist at Emory University, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, and Grady Memorial Hospital. His clinical and research interests focus on sickle cell disease, with a particular emphasis on transition from pediatric to adult care, health outcomes, and improving quality of life for individuals living with sickle cell disease. He serves as the Medical Director of the Sickle Cell Transition Clinic at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and is the Vice Chair of the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Hemoglobinopathy Special Interest Group.
