The Maternal and Infant Health ECHO is designed to equip healthcare providers, clinicians, and perinatal service professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve maternal and infant health outcomes. This ECHO focuses on evidence-based practices, emerging trends, and comprehensive care strategies to enhance the quality of perinatal services. Our program covers critical topics such as prenatal and postpartum care, maternal mental health, breastfeeding support, perinatal complications, health equity in maternity care, and infant development.

Learning Objectives: 

- Apply evidence-based strategies for prenatal and postpartum care to improve maternal and infant health outcomes across the perinatal continuum.

- Assess maternal mental health concerns and identify appropriate screening, referral, and management approaches to support optimal maternal well-being

- Evaluate common perinatal complications and select appropriate clinical interventions and care coordination strategies to enhance patient safety and outcomes.

- Integrate best practices in breastfeeding support, infant development, and health equity into perinatal care to promote high-quality, patient-centered services for diverse populations.
