BIO
Carrie Cwiak is professor of gynecology and obstetrics and epidemiology at Emory University. She is the Chief Quality Officer for the Physician Division of Emory Healthcare, ensuring access to and delivery of patient-centered quality care in the ambulatory settings throughout the system. She received her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Connecticut Health Center. She completed her Complex Family Planning Fellowship and master of public health degree in epidemiology at Emory. She is active in training fellows, residents, and medical students; speaking and writing to educate trainees and providers; advocating for the people of Georgia, and collaborating in research in abortion and contraception, and sexual and reproductive health.
