Nicola Chin, MD, FAAP
Dr. Nicola Chin is a native of Jamaica, West Indies. She attended Massachusetts Institute for her undergraduate studies and received her medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Chin completed her residency in Pediatrics at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Rhode Island and has practiced in the Atlanta community for almost thirty years. Her clinical interests include childhood obesity prevention, ADHD management and overall child wellness. She has held several several leadership roles with the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics including Immediate Past President and Committee Chair of Bright Futures Task Force. She serves on the Board of The Children's Care Network as well as their Primary Care Advisory Council. Her advocacy for children extends internationally through mission care in Jamaica through the Atlanta Montego Bay Sister Cities Committee for the past 25 years. She is passionate about serving infants, children and adolescents and their families. She highlights and positively reinforces their uniqueness through their ongoing wellness visits.
